Cannondale SystemSix Carbon Ultegra Candy Red
- The SystemSix is the road bike with the lowest drag on the market. Since the bike accounts for about 30% of a rider's total drag, this translates to significantly less effort for any rider, at any pace.
- The aerodynamic advantage of the SystemSix makes it faster on any climb up to 6% and beyond (depending on the rider's power-to-weight ratio) than the lightweight mountain bikes that were specially developed for it. For comparison, the most difficult HC climbs on the tour average only 7 to 8%.
- On a 5% gradient, a rider on a conventional lightweight bike would have to deliver over 300 watts of power just to keep up with the rider on the SystemSix; he drives very relaxed.
- At 48 km/h the SystemSix saves you 50 watts of power - quite a lot considering that the power-related anaerobic threshold of the average Category 1 rider is 350 watts. And even in the slipstream, you still get almost 60% of this advantage.
- In a 200-meter sprint, where the riders hammer up to 1000 watts of power into their cranks, the rider with the SystemSix would be four bike lengths ahead of the field.
- Even at a relaxed group pace, the SystemSix uses about 10% less power for the same speed. So you have more energy left when it comes to the nitty gritty.
Disc-only design
A special design for disc brakes enables the aerodynamic optimization of the frame and fork, as well as the choice of wheels and tires that would not have been possible with rim brakes.
Hollowgram KNOT handlebar and stem
delivers the low drag and sleek look of a one-piece system with the adjustability and interchangeability of a two-piece handlebar and stem system. 8° steering angle adjustment. The narrow handlebars with flared ends bring your arms closer together in the lower handlebar position and reduce drag.
Hidden cable routing
The unique design routes brake lines and Di2 cables through an opening in the front of the head tube, bypassing the headset bearings. An integrated steering stop prevents damage to the cables and allows a full steering rotation of +/- 50°.
Adjustable spacers
The stem spacers can be opened; This is how you adjust the stem height without having to loosen cables and lines.
